Jeudi 14 mars 2024 nous accueillons en séminaire Olivier L'Haridon, Professeur d'Economie à l'Université de Rennes et membre sénior de l'Institut Universitaire de France.

Son principal domaine de recherche est le comportement face au risque et à l'ambiguïté, Il s'intéresse également à l'Economie du travail et à la négociation.

Resumé : We explore the implications of bargainers’ reference-dependence preferences on bargaining outcomes. We focus on the case where bargainers are loss averse with respect to the reference point and extends Nash’s original four axioms with new axioms: independence to the reference point (r-independence) and independence to reframing of decisions (orderindependence). We show the disagreement solution has nice properties and propose a new solution, complementing previous insights by Shalev (2000), Shalev (2002), and Driesen, Perea, and Peters (2011). The new solution is independent of the disagreement outcome whenever the reference point is feasible and coincides with the Nash bargaining solution under certain conditions.
